Listings here are added either from information gathered from the Internet, or entered manually by the groups (cafe’s, projects, companies, etc.) themselves.
If a listing doesn’t have a green tick next to its name, it hasn’t been verified by the “owner” and can be claimed.
If you want your listing removed completely, just email info@mendit.org.uk and ask.
Claiming a Listing
If you want to claim a listing, register for an account, go to the listing and click Claim Listing. If you have registered using an email address domain that matches the website domain, this will be straightforward, otherwise additional details may be required – please provide relevant information in the claim box.
There is no cost to claim a non-commercial listing and it is not planned that there ever will be. Commercial listings can be claimed for free at the moment but that may change depending on whether advertising income/sponsorship covers site costs. (I also take a flexible view on “Commercial” – Hobbycraft, Screwfix, B&Q, RS Components, Halfords, etc. definitely would be (and welcome to advertise/sponsor…) but an individual running a small project in a community space a couple of times a week, not so, even if not a charity/CIC.)
